What Signal60 is
Signal60 is an editorial web directory: a structured index of active websites, organised by subject and maintained by a small editorial team. The index currently covers 836 sites across 22 subject sections, from Automotive & Cycling to Destinations & Adventure Travel.
Each entry in Signal60 is reviewed before publication. The editorial team checks that the site is reachable, determines its primary subject area, and places it in the appropriate section. There is no automated ranking and no paid placement — the index reflects editorial assessment, not algorithmic output.
Signal60 takes its name from the practice of transmitting a structured signal at a fixed interval: regular, clear, and deliberately formatted. The directory applies the same principle to web indexing — a considered editorial process, applied consistently across every entry.
Submissions are open. If you run a website and believe it belongs in the Signal60 index, use the Add page to submit your URL. The editorial team reviews all submissions and makes a classification decision. There is no fee to submit, and no fee to browse the index.
